Ice Kacang Puppy Love review

First of all, i strongly disagree with the title. Should've been Ice Kacang First Love or Crush or smth. Cos definition-wise it's not accurate.

I know this is a show waaaaaaaaaaay outdated. But oh well.

Hahahahahaha okay i did not wanna watch this. When it first came out i wasn't keen on watching it even though my classmates were praising it to high heavens. But since my dad downloaded it and asked all of us to go and watch it together as a family, i succumbed. Well, it wasn't so bad. For a Malaysian movie.

Personally i find Malaysian movies (except huana's that shows on rtm or smth -.- ) rather entertaining. It has Malaysian jokes that we Malaysians understand. Just like American jokes in American movies that sometimes we go "huh???" watching. Cos there's once i was watching a movie with my sis's bf, he was laughing LOUDLY at a phrase a guy made but i was like "...........". Then he explained that the guy was talking about a kid's food that is very famous in the states.
=.=

But i'm quite happie and proud that i was watching this with my family. I was the blardy translator yeaaaah  o0o
Being in a school that surrounds me with chinese speaking people is kinda good, in a way. Mwahaha.

Anyhoooooow, this movie is not as bad as i thought it was (which was VERY VERY bleh). Well, it is sorduf typical of a 'love' story, if u can call it that.
It's setting is a place that all of us (at least those of us that actually stepped foot into kopitiams before). Which is kinda nice, for once. instead of all the high-tech places like Salt. When i saw their houses has all those eeeeeky yuuuuucky moss growing everywhere, i went "ewwwwwwww" out loud, and my mom said "houses those days are like these laaah. u think we were so fortunate to have tiles like u guys nowadays??".
Can't blame me right.
Cos i uber hate those mosses esp if they get in contact with my skin OMG OMG OMG i wanna barf -.-

U see, like any other comedy movies, they always, always, ALWAYS have one skinny and one fat fella. Both having the brains the size of a pea. Working under a stoopid 'head' as well.

Well anyways, the part where i enjoyed the most about this movie is the part where this big sized gal ( i will not call her fattie cos it's rude right. haha) was rushing into the road and suddenly a bike vender braked in front of her. And as typical Malaysians do,
Indian motorcyclist : LU BODOH AH!!!
Big-sized gal : LU BUTA AH!!! SAYA BIGITU PESAR YUU TAK NAMPAK SAYIA AH!!
I totally lmao-ed myself at that scene. Hahahahahahahahahha

So, the main cast is the guy in white pagoda shirt at the back. This girl in front is the heroin. The guy he was having a huuuuuuuge crush on her of some sort. His name is Ah Niu. I don't wanna google up his name cos i might come up with something weird like Fish Leung or some sort. >.<

At the end of the movie he became like this
Not much improvement but yeah. That's the 21st Century in KL, i think?
Typical way of being in a big crowd of people while looking for the long-lost loved one, and u suddenly saw someone that looked like that person from YEARS ago, ignoring the fact that the person might have changed her/his style or anything like that, and then realised that he recognised the wrong person, and then the real person he was looking for is just at the back/somewhere really near him.
-.-

It's not that i didn't enjoy the movie. I sorduf did. But everything was sorduf predictable. I just like it when they're joking around and being stupid. I can link to their jokes, like from the bottom of my Malaysian heart [omg i can't believe i just said that lmao]

Sorry i'm not typing much. Just got my nails done, and they're kinda long so i'm lazy to type so much in case they chip off or smth. I was so patient this time i stayed still and did not try to multitask after i painted a coat cos it always always ALWAYS get smudged or smth happens to it. So was quite happy with my paintwork this time yeay *winks*

So, maybe out of 5 stars i'll rate this one as 3 stars.
