It's Papa's Day!

HAPPY DADDY'S DAY, DADDY!!

Today in church, ActsTV had an awesome clip for Father's day (as usual).
I laughed so much, but i also tried putting myself in a father's shoes in the midst of the laughing.
Let me just quote a little of what i remembered from the clip.. Some fathers were saying "I want to go to mamak, i want to go futsal, but as you marry and kids come, you realise you can't just do all these anymore", "I think my kids look at me as the banker. But at least they look at me lah, 'cos if they don't look at me at all that's a problem", "When my daughter was born i joked with my wife that i'd buy a riffle when she reaches 16, just to make sure she's...um...safe. "

Funny as it is, but those are truly the things that a father worries about all the time.
A daddy does so much for you, y'know?

They work late hours, take a photo of themselves and e-mail them to their family members...
.. with the caption "Still working, oh!"

To pay for all those expensive gadgets you like to flash around to your friends.

Not to forget, paying for expensive trips half way across the globe for that lifetime experience.
While worrying throughout the whole trip that some crazy casanova white men will steal his 2nd daughter's heart thus creating the probability that she might be 24 hours away from him too.

When they miss their younger days where they're young and wild and free,
They have pictures of their younger days with big bikes as their Facebook cover photo.
I never told daddy this, but there are a lot of people who told me my dad is cool.
So daddy, thank you for being a cool dad when you're not gassing in public :)

Dwey dwey, ion and me love you and mommy aloooooooot!

Okay this is totally random but i found a nice picture of my friend and his father on my hdd while looking for pictures of my papa.
Happy father's day to Zhi Yuen senior too!!

Fun with Howard and Jane

I remember telling you guys about the two kids that came to my house for tuition in one of the previous post. Originally, my momma was supposed to be the teacher and i'm supposed to stay in my room until their break time because i am a 'distraction' to them - oh the rejection T.T

But. My mom pointed a gun at my head and told me that i have to be her assistant in the tuition. So i had to agree :P

And... Why not take the opportunity to play with my freaking old and heavy digicam?

(I so so so so wanted to buy the Kodak M200 because of its weight and it was on promotion but in the end i decided against it because when you're given more time to think about a purchase the voice at the back of your head will tell you NOT to and by then the promotion period ended already so yeah next time just buy things without thinking okay?!)

ANYWAY. When i took out my camera, my mommy said to put it away because they won't study.

Here's mommy and the two kids, utilising my object of 'distraction' ahem.
And again.

Actually all these started with me being obsessed with the cuteness of this :
I like his tee! Asked him to stand there and show me his shirt.
Oh, this is Howard by the way. He wears a hard rock cafe tee, guess jeans, and adidas shoes.
This is Howard's cousin, Jane. She wears GAP for kids dresses and matching adidas shoes with Howard.

Here is Mrs.Wong teaching Howard to read after she used the object of 'distraction'-me for a picture of herself. Picture credits to Jane.

Here is me trying to take a self-shot but failed miserably (yet again).

Here is Jane's first attempt at the camera and she decided for me to be her model mohahaha.

I forgot what i was sad about but the thing that covered me from my neck and below is Howard's hands after he couldn't stand the distraction caused by Jane, the camera, and me. And decided to join us haha i'm ze deviiiil!

Don't worry they have snack time so i'm not entirely distracting them from their studies. They seem to like the yoghurt pretzels we got as Christmas presents back when we were in the States, so my mom gave it to them to do whatever they want with it.

ie. eat it like a glutton :

or eat it whilst posing like a model :

Nevertheless, you must drink water after every snack or else you will end up coughing or having sore throat. Such tales parents teach their children nowadays *shakes head

Okay back to studying.

Was playing with the sephia mode my camera had. Was feeling nostalgic because this was what my mom used to teach me and my siblings back when we were old so sephia was the right mode for this shot.

Haha kena tipu we had more pictures taken. This was in blue mode because Howard requested for blue - his favourite colour. I'm getting better at self-shots hoho.

This is me being forced to do a 'Gong xi fa cai' pose whilst Jane becomes all bossy and takes a very out of focus picture of me.

BOO!! It's Jane Loo.

Haha okay thank you for watching please come again good night (:

Orlando Part Tooh

Right, so i was feeling nostalgic and viewed back the pictures i took from the States. And i even viewed back the post i did on my trip to the States (zomg lol). And i realised, i didn't talk much about my trip there, just very quickly skimmed through it and then complain about missing it when i'm back here -.-

And most of my readers are in my facebook list, so you guys would've seen all the pictures i've posted there already, IF you went through it lah haha. But i'm now posting up some exclusive pictures that i was too paiseh/lazy/no-reason-at-all to post it up on facebook (see there's benefits to reading my blog so keep reading!)

Browsing through the pictures, i realized i didn't really took tonnes of pictures. Just because i was too paiseh to take out my camera to snap stuff. And even at the rate i was going, Jack said that i'm very fond of taking pictures, so that made me even MORE paiseh than i was, and i took less pictures. In front of him lah lol. So all that's left are memories (and my memory is real shitty!). Here's proof #1 :

I was paiseh to camwhore in the Detroit airport while waiting for my flight to Orlando but i die die also want to camwhore so i just took one from the bottom where not too many people will notice the camera >.< I'm a terrible blogger but i hereby make an oath that i will try not to be paiseh and take more pictures of what i want to take. Does that make sense?

Anyway here's a picture of me and my sister, looking quite good i think (buay paiseh)
I should've insisted to my inner self to get my hair done before going to the States instead of waiting till i come back -.- Now all my pictures looked like i had shit as hair wtf lah. And i had untrimmed brows too lol fml kao kao -.-''''''''''''''''

Having a sister is fun, because a brother wouldn't want to camwhore with you and he will scold you for taking too much pictures T.T
But she complains that she looks fat when she holds the camera and she has chicken hands (which means her hands are super not steady and hence the blur picture) so she forced me to take the picture instead.
Okay now i look fat -.- And i had disgustingly messy hair because it was SOOOO WINDY that night when we went back to Epcot for the fireworks. And because i had a sister that lives there so i get to borrow a down jacket to keep me from the cold while the rest of my family freezes almost to death *guilt*

Okay this is where we eat almost everyday if we didn't go out to eat. Jack (and Diana) cooks pasta, pasta, and pasta for us almost everyday. That's because they are good with Italian food, because they had an Italian restaurant last time but had closed down, because it's not bringing back enough cash for them lol. Out of pure thoughtfulness, Diana cooked an Asian meal once because Jack thought we would've been bored of white food by then. But ahem i was doing fine with white food actually okay do you get it lol.

They had a dog when John (my bro-in-law) went to law school, which they loved, and we loved too. Because as time goes bye, we actually bonded and saw that he is terribly cute and has really funny habits. LIKE HE FREAKING SNORES WHEN HE SLEEPS. Like a human okay!! When i heard it for the first time i got freaked out okay because no one was there so i traced the sound to Bailey. Haha. Oh and they did not name the dog after the Irish cream.

He was loved with a lot of toys and had a personal Santa next to his toy box.

Had his pictures all around the house, you say they love him kao kao or not? I took these pictures when they were out for something and i didn't go out for some reason which i forgot already. But bottomline is i took it when Jack wasn't around so he wouldn't tease me for being 'overly fond with photographs'. See how i fail as a blogger?

Here's a blur picture of me trying to take a picture while i asked my chauffeur to stop for me to take a picture.

And here's me, viewing the picture i just took. And that it was blur. With a smile on my face for no apparent reason -.-

So i gave up, and my sister ordered asked me to get up so she can take a picture of the dinosaur that i wanted with me covering one of its leg lol. Imma invest in a better anti-shake camera when i have the cash one day. Or when my current camera dies and begs my dad to buy me one that is light and made for shaky hands like me and my sister.

Here's my parents acting cute lol. My dad kept calling me to take pictures of him during the trip for some apparent reason. Must be mid-life crisis ohohoho

Here is a random picture of one of the regrets in my life. It doesn't look that geng here but believe me, it was CRAZY STEEP and only for $30 T.T Where to find in Malaysia?? Stuff in Malaysia are so freaking expensive :((((

And a picture of a Brooklyn pan crust pizza with a size that will suffocate you if you happen to have someone slap it on your face. Because it's that big. You can't possibly eat it horizontally, and you have to fold it in half to eat it. After this you'll start wondering wth are Pizza Hut serving to us all these while.

A random picture i took in the car that has no green grass and blue blue sky because that's Orlando. A really cute local indian guy sitting next to me during my flight from Detroit to Orlando (he has fear of height too omg how cute is that??? ) said Orlando is just land.... Land.... And more land. Because the towns are really far away from each other, and in between the town are just land. That aside, it's still a beautiful place to be.

-- Okay talking about the indian guy, there's this funny story. Before any of the people beside me boarded, i opened the window because i wanted to see us taking off ( i wasn't sitting next to the window, but he is). So after about 5 minutes after taking off (we're reaching the clouds very soon already), he finally asked if he can shut the window because he's afraid of heights x) In my defense, it wasn't sunny at that time so it wasn't the sun okay. End of self-proclaimed funny story.

American really damn lazy.

But i love this automatic hand dryer because it really BLASTS air to REALLY dry your hands within seconds! Unlike the ones we have around here, you stand there and blow and blow and blow for 5 hours also your hands won't dry type. (Ahem took this when there was no one around too lol)

Did i mention how lazy were they? They had trams to take you to the parking lot even though it's within walking distance. BUT. Disney's parking lot is one hugeass of land, so even if it's within walking distance, it's a freaking LOOOOONG distance to your parking lot. So yay for things that makes life easier (:

You get a mint from every restaurant you go and i really look forward to it! Like a kid lol. Some restaurants give chocolates instead. (Took this shot before eating it when i was alone too)

Mommy dressing up very exaggeratedly for a night in Magic Kingdom. It really wasn't that cold. Really. Oh i remember the night i was at Magic Kingdom. It was after Animal Kingdom in a wheelchair, and i thought my leg was fine-ish already after the whole day resting on the wheelchair so i don't wanna trouble anyone to push me around (and it slows down the crowd too wtf damn paiseh you know) so i insisted that i'm FINE like a normal Asian would do and guess what? By the time it was time for me to go home my leg fell off. Okay lah it FELT like it fell off my body because i was literally limping like someone that has one leg shorter than the other and i looked like ahem. Don't know how to describe. But you get the idea lah. Then my sister got mad at me for not wanting to sit on a wheelchair because we paid for one full day in any Disney park anyway. T.T

Okay end of reminiscing and time for future planning. Headache giler ni. Bobye!

T.Batik and Tambun

I'm lazy to watermark my pictures nowadays so can u be a sweetheart and NOT use my pictures anywhere else?
Not like they're worth using too =P

So.

Came back from a mini youth trip with Barney, Andrew, Zhi, TTL, Aaron, Ada and Charissa. We thought of having a last trip and a FUN trip too, together, before we each leave to go on our separate ways. ALL of us are leaving. But there's a few that already left us, and some that can't join. Their loss =P

Here's the infamous Teluk Batik, which happens to be our first stop of the day. Thank God that it wasn't raining! Seriously. It would jeapordize all our plans for the entire day if it really did rain. Thank God.

We played some ball game, and apparently zhi yuen gets thrown into the sea as a penalty, thanks to me :)

And we buried Andrew, gave him boobs, a womb, and terribly beautiful and lean limbs :) That's the singular ball he gave birth to, apparently.

That's me with my bra showing -.-

And here's a bird in Tambun. Pretty birds. God really is a creative creator. So much pigments he had to use!! xP

A few really pretty big birds i wanted to show u guys. I enjoyed watching them eat out of my hand, their mouthing skills and all. Birds are pretty and all, but somehow i just prefer snakes. And maybe monkeys too. Some Someone said i'm 'pretty weird' and 'different from others'. SO I'M A WEIRDO :)

birdie eating off my hand :)

Monkey's name is 'Hensem' ; holding onto my hand like there's no tomorrow! and yes i'm gonna have a pet monkey in the future as well! (in response to my status on Facebook)

Some hugeass Python that looks as if it's gonna attack me anytime. But u're still pretty lil Python :) Too heavy for me to lift up though. He/She's HUUUUUUGE!!

See how huge he/she is?
slither slither

This one, i can lift up :) Placed it around my neck too, but the picture was captured using my bro's VGA camera, so i'm not sure if it's a good idea to put it up. Abang zoo 1 said we can lift it up but not take pictures because they have their own photographers there to sell their pictures. And  Abang zoo 2 whispered to us that if we really wanna take pictures, we can.. In the "it's a secret so do it secara diam-diam" tone. Yay for Malaysian workers =D

It's a lamb/goat alright. FYI i'm not born in the year of a Lamb. Just hugging it for the sake of hugging it. And it isn't choking!! Smells pretty bad. But i'm not exactly very clean either. Oh well.

At the entrance of the 45 degree celcius steam cave. The water outside was 40 degrees celcius though. At first when i stepped into the water, i was like NO WAY HELL NO THIS IS FREAKING PAIN OKAY?? But after i gathered all my courage to go inside only because i was the only one left on dry land, it was actually pretty fun. And soothing. And nice. Wanted to spend longer time in the steam cave but it's time for us to leave already. Siiiiigh.

Here's everyone, and me looking dorky. It took the uncle that we randomly asked like, 4 other shots to get this right cos i actually adjusted the view i wanted on the screen, and held it up in the air for him to take it from the exact spot i want my camera to be. But NOOOOOOO he has to lower it down so that we can see more of the floor instead of the beautiful greens on top -.- So yeah this is the best he could do.

I'm a freaking red hair, o-yeah.

Went to Vegas in Kampar that EVERYONE i know in UTAR recommended. Obama was their specialty but i got a Nake burger cos it's practically the same thing, just minutes another patty and an egg. I couldn't even finish my Nake burger, i'm so relieved i didn't try the Obama.

Verdict : sadly disappointing. 1st and last time there.

Had a really terrible glass of drink with a terrible, terrible burger with tasteless chicken meat.

Ended the day with a stroll down the path near the infamous Kampar UTAR lake. Too bad it's at night, so i can't show them how terribly dirty and eecky (self invented word) the water is. Milky.

So.. yeah. That ends my mini youth trip. REALLY looking forward to the G.Berinchang trip we're discussing with CHO and Zhi. Hoping that this won't be just all talk cos i'm really into greeneries ey =)
